Welcome to our blog!

When I received my new US passport a week ago we immediately began making all the travel arrangements for an extended 4-month visit to Southeast Asia. It's been a whirlwind of planning and booking! We'll leave within the next week and I'm going to write about our travel experiences in this blog. This is my first trip as a US citizen and we'll be visiting nine countries: Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Malaysia. But our travel tales won't end here - nor did they start here - this is simply the beginning of a new chapter in our full-time traveling lifestyle!

Have passport ... will travel!

  7. Hope you guys are enjoying Asia :) We just came back home few days ago and now it's time to start our normal life again (but for me it also means finally more time for blogging and checking other blogs, yey!) :) Was great to meet you two in Railay. I'm waiting for new updates from your travel and catching up with previous notes.
I think my blog went crazy, cause I couldn't see any of your comments Karen :( They got lost somewhere in Matrix...

    Hugs,
    Justine

    1. Hi Justine, it's good to hear from you! We really enjoyed meeting you in Thailand ... your love story is the most similar to ours that we've heard of in 17 years! It will be very interesting to see where your own love of travel leads you and Maurice.
Sometimes the internet does weird and wonderful things - it's not the first time my comments or messages have been 'lost'. I will comment again when I am reunited with my laptop!
Hope your new job is great and that you get travel discounts!
      Hugs to you too,
      Karen
